Engine 1 is the first responding unit for all structure & vehicle fires. Engine 1 also responds to vehicle accidents and hazardous material incidents as well. This truck carries 750 gallons of water. Engine 1 can transport a company of 5 firefighters.

Tanker 1 responds to all fire incidents where a water source might be needed. This truck carries 2,000 gallons of water and weighs over 34,000 pounds when full.

FD-1
FD-1 is our Chief's vehicle. FD-1 responds to any emergency our Chief needs to respond to and serves as his personel command vehicle. The next time you see this vehicle on the road, make sure you give Chief Shaffer a big "hello wave"!
